CGS will continue to offer a robust slate of webinar throughout 2012. The way the webinars are posted to this page will change slightly, but the tool used to access the webinars and the way you receive the connectivity email won’t change. Suppliers can attend as many webinars as will benefit for them, and there is never any charge from CGS for the sessions. Once registered for a specific webinar, expect an email approximately two hours before the session with connectivity instructions for both the web tool and teleconference portions.
Policy Based Webinars
CGS offers an extensive range of policy-based webinars. These sessions entail an approximate 30 minute presentation from your webinar host. The host will conduct a review of the Local Coverage Determination (LCD) of the chosen medical policy, describe any special billing or payment rules, and detail the documentation requirements specific to the policy. After the presentation, your host will have plenty of time for questions and answers on the sessions topic. Each attendee will also receive a PDF version of the presentation via email.

General Topic Webinars
General webinars follow the same format as policy based sessions, but are focused on broader concepts, like documentation requirements and the audit process. Your webinar host will provide a presentation and question and answer session, but the topics will be approached from an overall basis and will require attendees to apply the information to the policy groups that they bill.
